Apply by April 9: Collaborative Interagency Opportunity for NSF DMREF Teams to Work with HydroGEN

March 30, 2018

To foster interactions between academia and national and federal laboratories, at the 2018 Materials Genome Initiative (MGI) Principal Investigator Meeting, the National Science Foundation's (NSF) Designing Materials to Revolutionize and Engineer our Future (DMREF) program announced Interagency Collaborative Opportunities for DMREF teams to partner with MGI-related efforts outside of DMREF.

Supplemental funding may be awarded to current DMREF project teams to support effective interagency collaboration between their DMREF project and MGI-related activities at federal agencies and national laboratories, including the HydroGEN Energy Materials Network (EMN).

The HydroGEN EMN is looking for DMREF collaborators in innovative water splitting research that could best leverage its world-class capability nodes. Information is available describing some of the HydroGEN EMN opportunities for DMREF collaboration.

To apply for the supplemental funding, project teams must submit a white paper to DMREF using the provided template by Monday, April 9, 2018. Download the white paper template.
